‘Show leadership’ Shaun Bailey launches SCATHING ATTACK on Sadiq Khan over crime surge

Conservative candidate for London Mayor Shaun Bailey has launched a scathing attack on incumbent Mayor Sadiq Khan over the capital’s knife crime epidemic and called on Mr Khan to stop blaming Government cuts for the surge in violence.

Mr Bailey stated London requires urgent change in response to a sharp spike in violence crime, with 118 recorded homicides in the capital this year alone, compared to only 116 for the entire on 2017.

However, the political hopeful accused Mr Khan of failing to implement adequate changes and simply blaming the Government for the ensuing crisis.

Speaking on BBC Newsnight, he said: “What I regret is that we are at a point now where people are saying that we can wait 10 years for changes.
